This training is designed to provide participants with basic knowledge and practical understanding of safe overhead crane operation, rigging and slinging activities in accordance with workplace safety requirements.

Participants will learn about overhead crane components, crane operation safety, lifting gear selection and inspection, load assessment, rigging principles, safe lifting practices and hazard control during hoisting activities.

This course is suitable for crane operators, workers involved in hoisting and rigging activities, subcontractors, supervisors, managers, Safety and Health Officers, OSH practitioners and Safety and Health Committee members.
